Castrations

Our experienced veterinary team can carry out castrations either at your premises or at our clinic. Most procedures are performed under standing sedation, ensuring minimal stress and enabling a smooth recovery for your horse.

Sarcoids

We are known throughout the Midlands for our treatment of these skin tumours, and travel across the length of the UK to operate on them. We have our own surgical laser but often use other methods too in consultation with Professor Knottenbelt the world authority on equine skin tumours. We are always happy to look at photos in the first instance and can then chat to you to make a plan.

Elective Surgery

We have a number of visiting Specialist veterinary surgeons who regularly perform a range of advanced surgical procedures at our clinic, including:

• Arthroscopy

• Tenoscopy

• Airway surgery

• Standing sinus surgery

• Kissing spine surgery

Many of these procedures can be performed under standing sedation with local anaesthetic. However, for surgeries that require general anaesthesia, our fully equipped operating theatre, recovery box, and dedicated ICU stable ensures your horse receives the highest level of care before, during, and after surgery.

Referrals and Specialist Support

When further expertise is needed, we work closely with leading multi-disciplinary teams at B&W Equine Hospital and Three Counties Equine Hospital in Gloucestershire.
