Angela Walsh (Director)
MRCVS BVMS Cert AVP
Since qualifying at Glasgow University I have always mainly been interested in equine medicine. I have just been awarded a Cert AVP from Liverpool University after three extra years of studying Equine Medicine and find that it has increased my enjoyment in dealing with everyday cases.
I have recently bought a young Irish draft horse that I intend to compete at dressage when time allows!

Kate Burman
BVMS MRCVS
I graduated with a distinction from the University of Edinburgh in June 2007. Following graduation I worked at The Minster Equine Clinic in York as an intern and ambulatory vet for 18 months. I started at Corner House Equine Clinic in January 2009, where I am responsible for the care of the inpatients, anaesthesia and laboratory work as well as routine ambulatory work.
Michelle Lawrence
BVM&S MRCVS GPcert Equine Practice
I qualified from Edinburgh university in 2003 and worked in mixed practice for three years before completing an equine internship at Chiltern Equine Clinic in Buckinghamshire. I have spent the last six years working in a purely equine clinic in the Cotswolds during which time I attained the GP certificate in Equine Practice.
I enjoy all aspects of equine work, but have developed a particular interest in the challenges of equine anaesthesia. Outside of work, I enjoy riding and competing and walking my rather lively springer spaniel “Teasel”.

Laura Laurence
MRCVS
Laura hails from Madrid and worked initially for 18 months at Three Counties Equine Hospital. There she was responsible for in-patient care and general anaesthetics. After this Laura worked with a specialist racehorse vet in the Cotswolds who travelled all over the country looking after top racehorses; Laura learned lots there about how things work in the racing industry and so she has been able to update us on the use of shockwave and laser therapy for soft tissue injuries.
Laura plays tennis with her boyfriend when she’s not at work and travels to and from Madrid when time allows!
Claire Black
MRCVS
Claire joined us recently after working in a big equine clinic in Staffordshire. She hails from Ireland where her parents train and breed race horses, so she could ride before she could walk! She is studying for a certificate at the moment which takes up an awful lot of time but hopes to get back into riding and hunting soon!
Jacopo Corsalini (Jacob)
MRCVS
Jacob joins us from Italy, he has many years of experience both in private practice and working within a referral setting within universities. His main interest is surgery, lameness including back problems and mesotherapy.
Jane Furber
I have been the office manager at Corner House Equine Clinic since 2005. I enjoy my strange mixture of duties which include answering the telephone & making appointments, doing the accounts and checking in blood & faecal samples!
I enjoy going on holiday, eating out and country walks (only in warm weather!)
Harriet Russell EVN HEAD NURSE
Harriet otherwise known as Pond joined us in 2019 to be our new head nurse. She’s good and bossy which is the top requirement as she needs to organise the vets, hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of equipment, prepare horses for surgery, make sure there’s always enough stock on the shelves and then get home in time to ride !
Hayley Woodward
Hayley joined us as a groom/ nurse in Autumn last year and has been taken to it like a duck to water! Everything from lungeing to mucking out to setting up expensive equipment and answering the phone; she hopes to start vet nurse training 2021
Claire Lampitt
Claire runs our Romsley office and has many years of experience in the equine veterinary world. In her spare time she runs her livery yard, rides her cob and trains her rescue dog to be able to compete in ‘Scrufts’!
Liz Whelan
Liz has joined us to do reception at both Ullenhall and Romsley, she previously ran Chessetts Wood Equestrian in Lapworth so she has a good working knowledge of the horse owner and their needs!!
Aly Handford
Aly joined us at the end of 2018, she can be found either in the office speeding around or in the stables speeding around! Aly worked at a big vets in Solihull for twenty years so she’s used to knowing what clients need and expect.
Aly has a collection of horses and manages to fit in competing, teaching and taking her daughter to competitions, so we are lucky she has time to work at all!
