We are delighted to announce that this week something really exciting has happened at Corner House Equine Clinic; we have joined together with a much larger group of Equine vets who own nearly 30 equine practices throughout the country.
Terms and conditions for our winter offers Jan 1st -Feb 28th 2018, all work must be paid for in full on the day.
Offer 1 – Free* sedation for dentistry (performed by us!)
All vets and equine dental dental technicians do a better job when a small amount of sedation is given prior to the teeth being done..the very back teeth are almost inaccessible in an unsedated horse; this can lead to hooks and ramps appearing. We want to demonstrate how the use of mild sedation decreases the stress for both horse and owner (and vet) so why not try it for free !!
* offer must be mentioned at the time of booking and includes up to 0.5ml of detomidine, or 0.3 Dom/0.6 Torb which is enough for most horses, any extra will be chargeable, so if you have one that is an elephant (!) or very, very difficult to do some extra (chargeable) sedation may be needed.
OFFER 2 ….SILVER OR GOLD MOT
SILVER….full examination ; eyes , heart , lungs , soundness , skin and any other worries. Dental examination and routine rasp plus light sedation (up to 0.5ml domo included). Full written report with wellness plan for the next year posted or emailed .
NB Any top ups of sedation , any non-routine dental work and a visit if required (or ZV ) are chargeable. £85 incl vat
GOLD as above plus routine blood screen (biochemistry and haematology basic)
£125 incl vat
OFFER 3… RESTART YOUR LAPSED VACCINES….second vaccine free
Both vaccines must be done before the end of February , visits are payable , the horse must be a restart and not a first course.
OFFER 4 …FULL ORTHOPAEDIC ASSESSMENT see ridden or lunged & in-hand assessment £70
All offers must be paid for at the time and mentioned at the time of booking
Aimed at horses whose vaccines have lapsed (ie not a first course !)
If you have the first and second vaccine done between now and the end of February 2018 the second vaccine will be free (either flu/tet or flu only or tet only ) . Visit charges will still apply . The usual course is one now , one a month later , then a third one 6 months after that. Please ring for more info. Only applies to Prequenza and Equilis brands.

Exciting news ! We are just in the process of signing a lease on a new office near Clent . We already cover this area and seem to be doing more and more work that way so in response to client wishes we have decided to open a dedicated office where you can book calls more locally (and pay a lower visit fee!) , pick drugs up , drop off paperwork etc. Work that cannot be done at your yard such as kissing spine operations, orthopaedic surgery, poor performance investigations, liver biopsy etc etc can be carried out at our large purpose built clinic in Ullenhall which is 17 miles from the new office. Other work such as xrays, scanning , castration , teeth , sick horses can of coursebe done at your premises as usual.
We will keep you updated as soon as the new branch is up and running but in the meantime we are registering new clients in the Chaddesley, Kinver and East, Stourbridge , Clent and Belbroughton areas daily. Until we are up and running we are able to offer discounted visits at certain times of the day with our vet Jo Gwynne who used to work at St Georges so is known to many of you already.
Lots has happened since we last updated this; our excuse is that we were having a new website built that works on mobiles as well as computers!
Happy Christmas to all our valued clients!
